Dudley Powell is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Sain Engineering Associates, Inc. Prior to his retirement in January 2020, Dudley served as a Vice President at SEA. During his ten years at Sain, he managed finance and accounting, human resources, contracts administration, purchasing, information systems, facilities, proposals, and marketing. His other responsibilities included serving as the REM Program Manager for four years. During his tenure with SEA, he led the implementation and successful adoption of a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support program management, planning, budgeting and scheduling, human resources management, and a government-compliant accounting system.

Dudley brings over 50 years of experience in senior management, operations, project management, program management, contracts, business development, and strategic planning with both large corporations and small businesses. As a successful entrepreneur for 12 years, he was involved in consulting, business acquisitions and divestitures, and large industrial equipment manufacturing. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Marketing for Microdot Aerospace, Inc.; Director of Business Development for United Technologies Corp. – United Space Boosters; Director of Program Management and Strategic Planning for United Technologies Corp. – Pratt & Whitney – Advanced Systems Division; and a Program Manager with Western Gear Corp.

Dudley holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Peter F. Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.
