Jim Leverette

Jim Leverette is an engineering student from Tennessee Technological University. He is currently serving as a co-op engineer in the SEA Birmingham office.

Mr. Leverette spent his entire life in Tennessee prior to beginning work at SEA, with the vast majority of it spent in Chattanooga. While in high school, he competed in tennis, chess, and played with the Chattanooga Symphony Youth Orchestra as Principal Tuba. He also participated in mission trips with his church and he graduated in 2008 from Boyd-Buchanan High School as the class Salutatorian.

Prior to joining SEA, Mr. Leverette worked full time in the summer of 2008 as a member of the maintenance crew at his old high school where he received hands on experience in the multi-faceted work that it takes to keep facilities operational. During the summer of ’09 he worked with the Tennessee Valley Authority in IT Engineering where he did administrative work and helped to monitor projects moving through the agency.
