Scott E. Seigel

Scott Seigel is an Senior Energy Engineer for SEA. Mr. Seigel is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined SEA in 2009 after working for the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in the capacity of Principal Mechanical Engineer. His responsibilities included mechanical, plumbing and cryogenic system design for base operations buildings and launch facilities.

Mr. Seigel is a Navy Veteran with nearly 30 years of project management, energy auditing, facilities management, manufacturing and design experience including 14 years electrical and mechanical controls technical expertise.

Mr. Seigel worked with the Department of Defense (DOD) specifically the USAF and Army on projects. He also worked with USAF Contracting Officers and Estimators for projects domestic and abroad. In addition, Scott conducted "best practices" review of construction documents, expanded business development capabilities by increasing the client database and corporate teaming capabilities.

Mr. Seigel has extensive project management and HVAC design experience working on major projects including the Delta IV launch complex ($250MM) and HVAC renovation of Hi-rise office building as well as project management and design of multi-story office buildings. Other significant designs include Clean Rooms, Laboratories, Chiller Plants, Data Centers, & Health Care Facilities.

Mr. Seigel also has managed to serve as Chapter Presidents of both ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) with continuing membership in these organizations as well as the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). He has also been awarded the Canaveral Council of Technical Societies (CCTS) 2002 Technical Award for Leadership for leading the ASME Canaveral Section to its 2nd consecutive organizational wide best section award and the Charles T. Main Award for excellence in student activity at the Florida Institute of Technology (F.I.T.)
