Chan Keith is a Resource Efficiency Manager (REM) for Headquarters Air Mobility Command (AMC) at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville, Illinois. He assists the AMC Energy Manager by facilitating the Command’s energy and water programs to achieve AMC, Air Force, and federal conservation goals and cost savings at thirteen AMC bases located throughout the United States. 

Before becoming a REM, Chan was a lieutenant colonel for the Air Force and in 2008, most recently served as the Aviation Fuel Efficiency officer at Headquarters Air Mobility Command.  While there, he led planning efforts to create the Aviation Fuel Efficiency Office, and culminated in aviation fuel consumption savings and cost avoidance totaling $119 million dollars per year.  Chan has a MS degree in Atmospheric Science from the College of Engineering, Colorado State University, and a BA Degree in Mathematics from East Carolina University.
