Jack Frazier

Jack Frazier

Location: Edwards AFB

Jack is the Resource Efficiency Manager for Edwards Air Force base in Rosamond, California. His responsibilities include working closely with base energy managers to facilitate energy programs and assist in meeting the energy and water conservation goals of the Air Force as well as the more aggressive goals established by base command. He has worked with staff personnel on implementing the largest solar plant in the United States (3800 acres) and assisted in the implementation of solar/thermal facilities. He is currently working on new solar technologies including solar to hydrogen power production. He is an integral part of the Edwards Power Sustainability Program.

His background includes work as a SCADA engineer for a large utility, Project Management and Operations Manager of a power plant. Jack has over 30 years experience with Electrical Engineering, design and Project Coordination. His electrical engineering experience includes commercial and industrial automation controls in water and waste water industries and high voltage distribution. Jack has an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and is NETA certified.
