Gerald “Jerry” Johnson is the Resource Efficiency Manager for Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana. Jerry is responsible for facilitating the energy program and assisting in meeting the energy and water conservation goals of the base, the command, and the agency. Jerry has a varied energy background in industrial energy management, renewable energy, and, most recently, in energy metering and data analysis. He is currently working to improve the efficiency of base heating systems, metering systems and develop a load control strategy for air conditioning in base housing. Jerry holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University. Jerry is also a Certified Energy Manager through the Association of Energy Engineers.
