Steve Myers
Steve Myers is the REM at Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, home to the 27th Special Operations Wing. The primary mission of the 27th Special Operations Wing is to plan and execute specialized and contingency operations using advanced aircraft, tactics, and air refueling techniques to infiltrate, exfiltrate, and resupply special operations forces and provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and close air support in support of SOF operations. The base sits on 3,789 acres of land, and Melrose Range training area consist of 60, 010 acres.
Prior to being a REM at Cannon AFB, Steve served for twenty two years in the United States Air Force. He served in five overseas countries with two tours to Iraq and retired in the grade of Senior Master Sergeant. Steve previously served as Cannon AFB’s Civil Engineer Operations Superintendent and has more than 10 years experience as a Resource Efficiency Manager and various other management positions with the Air Force in contracting, planning and electrical field work.
